About Us
After experiencing living in a motorhome full-time for the three years, we gave everything up and moved into our Jeep Wrangler, aka Black Betty, with a rooftop tent. We traveled the USA full-time for a year and a half, visiting national parks and monuments, seeing the sights on the roads less traveled, and living on a budget out of our Jeep with a rooftop tent.
In 2022, with gas and food prices rising over our budget, we had the opportunity to workamp in Indiana for the summer, and which led to us managing a campground in Northern California for 14 months. We have since purchased a 2023 Winnebago Hike 100 travel trailer as we continue our travel adventures.
We have been together for twenty-nine years, raised four children, had our careers, became empty-nesters, are now grandparents. Deciding to take on this adventure while we physically are still able, we are all in for more experiences and less things.
Brian is from Michigan, a Michigan football and Detroit Lions fan, U.S. Navy veteran, former construction worker, and medically retired.
